I am a freelance translator with the language combinations English-Swedish and Spanish-Swedish. I hold an M.A. in translation and Spanish from Lund university, and I have also taken a few classes in business administration and a legal introductory course at the same university.
I love to learn new languages and read about language and grammar. Aside from Spanish and English, I have studied Modern Greek at the university and German, French and Latin at high school level.
In my work I focus on English and Spanish, and not least Swedish, which is my mother tongue and the language I of course know the best. I chose to call this website IntoSwedish to emphasize that I translate into Swedish.
I am a careful translator with a keen eye for details and how they build up the text as a whole. My essay from the translation education at Lund University is about the interplay between the text’s whole and its small details. It can be read here. (Only in Swedish.)
I have worked as a translator full time since 2008. I am a registered business and a member of the Swedish Association of Professional Translators, SFÖ.
